SOUNDING BOARD FOR RESEARCH PROJECTS & PERSONAL ESSAYS

Please use this site to post comments and/or questions about your research projects and/or personal essays, especially when you might not be able to make it to our weekly sessions. If you post something and you see no response or acknowledgement for a few days, send anyone of the sociology faculty an email to remind them to check it out. Also, let me encourage any member of the Capstone Course to post a comment or suggestion about a fellow classmate's work. After a few weeks there may be a fair number of such comments posted, so you may have to scroll through to see if there is anything you want to comment on.

    Are we allowed to include a dr. phil episode in our research? I know how to cite it, but wasn't sure if it would be acceptable to use, although the episode I watched was very interesting and I feel would be good for my research. Thank you!

    Megan, I don't see any problem with using Dr. Phil, mainly for illustrative purposes, as long, of course, as you do not rely primarily on such sources. Prof. Ginocchio
